Jesus, a Divine Being
Is Not Limited by Time, Location, or Appearance
Jesus can be in an Unlimited Number of Places at the Same Time.
"For this is the will of my Father, that everyone
"who sees" the Son and believes in him
may have eternal life" [Jn. 6:40]
The Last Supper of our Lord may also be referred to as the Lord's Supper. Our Lord Himself is not limited by space, time, or number of places He can be in at any one instance of time. The three members of the Holy Trinity are eternally and infinitely present everywhere. The material being known as Jesus existed in human form during His public appearance on earth. During His final supper He appeared, body, blood, soul, and divine Spirit, in three different forms, notably :
- Human
- Bread
- Wine
Jesus is simultaneously whole and entire under each of the three forms. The living person (being) Jesus can not be subdivided into parts.
- During the Lord's Supper Jesus is a living human with His blood flowing through His body.
- The Bread, following consecration, is living and dynamic, not dead. The Host we see is active. It has life force (blood) within Him.
- Likewise the Blood is not dead (outside of the Body). It is contained within Jesus' living body. Jesus is alive and active.
During His timeless supper Jesus said and continues to say, "This is My Body." During this universal supper Jesus has contained within Him His living blood. He also said, under the same conditions, "This is My Blood." Jesus' blood is still circulating within His living body.
It is Jesus who consecrates bread and wine into His still living body and blood. Jesus has not yet suffered and died for our sins. He makes this clear when referring to His blood, He adds: "which will be given up for you." His blood has not yet been shed, it is still in His living body, yet also is the life force of the consecrated bread. The wine is encompassed by His living body (consecrated bread).
Jesus, throughout time and place, is always the one who consecrates His body and blood. The apostles and all subsequent priests act in persona Christ. This basically means that Jesus consecrates, throughout time and in uncountable places, the bread and wine and brings about His living presence while united with priests who are serving Him. He uses the priests' words and simultaneously says – from the Last Supper table – the universal words of consecration. We ministerial priests are mortal beings with no power of our own. We, the only authorized successors of the apostles, do have the authority to simultaneously pronounce, with Jesus, the words of consecration. Approved priests act as instruments of the true High Priest, the Son of God.
We should keep in mind that Jesus has not yet suffered and died. At this time He is making the offering to His (and our) Father of all the works He has made during His public life up to this time. Jesus is also offering the one universal and propitiatory (salvific) offering to be made on Good Friday that will be found acceptable to the Father that allows Him to be the first human to enter into the eternal kingdom of Heaven. Jesus is then followed by the First Fruits (those presently in Paradise – Able, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Judith, Elijah, etc.) and subsequently by all who would believe in Him and act accordingly.
Jesus made the point very clear, "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone "who sees" the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him (on) the last day." [Jn. 6:40]
How many priests or faithful believe that they see Jesus when the consecrated Host is elevated, or that when receiving the consecrated Host they are receiving His living being as at the table of the Last Supper?
At the present time, early 2009 A.D., it is accepted that only about twenty percent of priests active in parishes, and those attending Mass on a regular basis, actually have this belief. Unfortunately most Catholics see Him but do not believe that it is Him, in His living body, under a different form. Non Catholic Christians can not see Jesus when ministers or priests, not associated with the papacy, pronounce words of consecration.
Jesus is capable of appearing in any form He so chooses. He cannot be limited by material description.
- Is the Son of God to be limited by a particular design?
- Do you believe that a divine being has temporal limitations?
- Is Jesus a divine being or not?
- Can He materially exist in an uncountable number of places at the same instant?
We participate in the offerings of the Last Supper when we see and believe in the material presence of Jesus and offer through and with Him our own worthy prayers, works, joys, and sufferings made while in the state of grace. We encompass Him when we eat His living flesh, containing His blood, while accepting His words at face value, "I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world." [Jn. 6:51]
Will you be among the unbelieving disciples who said:
"This saying is hard; who can accept it?" [Jn. 6:60]
and then return to your old way of life ?
666 "As a result of this, many (of) his disciples returned to their former way of life and no longer accompanied him." [Jn. 6:66] – Those who will not believe in what has been presented by the Son of God.
The present Eucharistic Liturgy leads many astray. While certainly a vernacular mass is preferred (though a limited number of parts may be said in one or more of the three languages posted on the cross), the liturgy approved under the authority of Pope Paul VI is responsible for being instrumental in many questioning, or entirely loosing their faith.
The primary four forms of the Eucharistic Prayers have been rewritten to included a proper presentation of our faith in Jesus Christ. Eucharistic Prayer II has perhaps the greatest number of changes and additions. A comparison of the current and revised versions have been made so that the differences can more readily be understood. While the opening prayers at the beginning of the "Liturgy of the Word" have been revised, it is those following the Eucharistic Prayers that have been the more highly rewritten.
The opening prayer, the prayer referred to as the prayer over the gifts, and the closing prayer have not been dealt with in these documents since they change from day to day. The "opening prayer" has the fewest number of misstatements as the congregations are paying closer attention during this time. The "closing prayer" has a greater number of problems but since those present are somewhat attentive at the closing of mass and are apt to carry the content with them when they leave, they contain only a few concerns. However, it is the so called "prayer over the gifts" that contain a very high number of problems that direct faith away from what is to take place with the consecration and the true offerings.
No one should ever argue about the cleverness of Satan and his ability to deceive the unwary. He has been tempting mankind from the beginning and has been effective in disturbing the meaning of liturgy from the early centuries following Jesus' sojourn on earth. He has used whatever means he could to distract people from the faith. He has been most successful following Vatican Council II.
Each person must make his or her own choice. Will you be a member of the "666 Club" ?

It should be kept in mind that failure to do good, when the opportunity is presented, warrants everlasting punishment. Omission of good has the same ultimate effect as commission of evil.
Sins of Omission can be More Insidious than Sins of Commission.

2 Tim. 4:1-8 NAB
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingly power: proclaim the word; be persistent whether it is convenient or inconvenient; convince, reprimand, encourage through all patience and teaching. For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but, following their own desires and insatiable curiosity, will accumulate teachers and will stop listening to the truth and will be diverted to myths. But you, be self-possessed in all circumstances; put up with hardship; perform the work of an evangelist; fulfill your ministry.
